Postpartum Period
For exclusive breastfeeding moms, when did you get your first period postpartum? I am 5mo pp and no period yet, i’m told this is normal but how long did you go without getting it?

i didn’t get mine until my lo was about 13 months old! it’s completely normal! some people don’t get it until they stop breastfeeding

10.5 months whilst exclusively pumping. The break was nice while it lasted 🥲
Still no period at 18 months pp
10 weeks PP 🫠 Some of us are just luckier than others. I’ve heard of women going 2 years without it.

It’s is very normal and enjoy it while you can 😅 My period returned nearly 9mo pp, also only exclusively breastfeed and still breastfeeding at 14mo. Around 6mo food is being introduced and eventually you start dropping a fee or not feeding as often, so your hormones will start to change and you will be looking for your period to return. My period is still not consistent, but very heavy and lasts longer, something I wasn’t prepared for, as I used to have short and not heavy periods.
