Thank you Paulina! X
I agree with @Paulina. A friend of mine had this on and off for weeks before going into labour.
I’m the same!! Had it since about 35 weeks, I’m 38 weeks now. Some days it’s worse than others, last week I’ve started with pain in the bottom of my back and spine too!! The time is comingggggg lol x
Could be thrush! I went into hospital yesterday as was having tightening/cramps possible contractions (no idea as not sure what to expect) baby fine, heart rate monitor showed contractions once every 5 mins but my cervix fully closed. They checked and said could be thrush as altho no symptoms (ie itchy etc) it can bring on contractions/labour! Gave me a pessary, woke every hour with pain and nausea then was sick. Hoping it all eases up today. My point is best to call triage and get them to check x
Could be prodromal (latent) labour - I wouldn't get too excited though, it can last for weeks before it progresses to actual labour! It's basically just another way your body's prepping for labour. Can be quite painful too but what differentiates it from the "real deal" is that it doesn't progress and can come and go. I'm pretty sure I'm having it too btw! X
