Cube the meat first with a knife carefully. The pan sear the meat cubes in olive oil and garlic with salt and pepper. Serve with rice or potatoes and a vegetable.
Pan searing should also not take very long if you’re cooking it will be ready in about a few minutes like less than 30 minutes. The cubes will cook faster and roasting.

I always cook in the slow cooker on low for 8 hours
I cook it with just a bit of water, French onion soup packets, and 2 cans cream of mushroom on low in my crockpot from the time I wake up till my husband gets home. Usually about 8-9 hours. Usually falls off the fork
If that is beef, I usually put it in the slow cooker at Xmas for about 6 hours & it comes out really nice & not chewy.
