Nausea and pregnancy vitamins

I’ve been struggling so bad with constant nausea which has honestly been awful. What I don’t think is helping is having to take the pregnancy vitamins we have to- taking Pregnacare Max and honestly have to take deep breaths before I swallow them - they make me feel soooo much worse !! Are they alll the same or has anyone tried diff ones that haven’t been so nausea inducing?? This combined with extreme fatigue + a 1 year old and it’s fair to say I’m struggling to get through the day 😶 First trimester is not for the weak🥲

I take mine before I go to sleep instead of the morning and it's helped

I stopped taking mine like a week ago because of this and I don’t have loads of money to be trying all different ones to find the right ones that won’t make me feel sick, so I tried taking them at night and it just made it hard to sleep, it made me feel sick and couldn’t get to sleep People say taking separate pills for each vitamins needed is better than the combined into one pregnancy vitamins like pregnacare but I don’t know as I haven’t tried

I actually haven’t been taking the pregnacare ones due to how nauseous they make me feel so I’ve been taking folic acid and vitamin d and iron separately and I feel better x

I also don't take a combined multivitamin as I found in both my pregnancies that it made my nausea worse, infact I had horrendous nausea and then when I moved to separate vitamins the nausea pretty much stopped so I'll stick with just the separate ones we need for now x

I’m on a prescribed high dose of folic acid but my midwife said you don’t really need the multivitamins. She said just take the folic acid and some vitamin d. My nausea has become SO much better since switching to just these. I also take them at night so I sleep through the nausea

I just switched to folic acid for the rest of the first trimester, I was struggling to keep that and cyclizine down some weeks so I had no chance with pregnacare. Now I’m getting close to 12 weeks and symptoms are lessening I’m going to startup pregnacare again. I’m breastfeeding so I’m sure my body could use the extra vitamins!

Taking pregnacare after dinner made me feel really unwell too. I’ve switched to taking it after lunch or before eating dinner and it’s loads better now
