Moving baby into cot

Hi guys, just curious on your thoughts… my daughter is 6 months old and is still in her next to me crib. It’s getting near to the point where she’s going to be too big for this very soon and will need to go into her cot. At the moment, she can’t fully roll back to front and it gives me a lot of anxiety knowing she could roll onto her front and not roll back. I’m not sure if it’s me being super over protective and over thinking it but what are your thoughts? She also still wakes up in the night wanting her dummy so she needs me quite a bit and I just feel going into her own room is too much of a step. 😩

We moved our LG into her cot and room on Friday night and she sleeps so much better! Before I would get woken by her making her noises in her sleep, think she's awake and give the dummy which would stir her more, now I give a minute and if she settles back to sleep I leave her to carry on sleeping. We've had 1 or 2 wakes for it the past few nights. Our camera picks up movement so I imagine if she did that, your camera set up would alarm if she moves and if she's on her front, you could go in and move her back x

Could you go into the cot in your room first? Then move the cot into her own room when you feel ready? That's what we've done x

@Sophie that’s good news! Which camera do you use? I have one but it doesn’t have an alarm. Thank you 🩷

@Lizzy honestly don’t know why I didn’t think of this, yes I can do that 🙈 thank you! 🩷

We have the momcozy BM03. It alerts if sound goes over a certain level and if she moves around lots. The screen also lights up overnight if she moves
