Early Morning Wakeups

Hi! Does anyone else’s baby get stuck in a cycle of early morning wakeups and then with three short naps and wake windows he ends up having to go to bed early and then the cycle repeats of waking up early. His twin wakes up at 7 every morning (except the past three days has started waking up early too😩) but I can’t even get up before him to have some alone time to start my day because it’s like he senses I’m awake and wakes up at 5:30-6. So I’m stuck rocking him back to sleep until 7 so that him and brother are on the same schedule. No matter how much or how little sleep he gets during the day he hasn’t slept until 7 in months!! Any advice?

I don’t have any advice but I totally am there with you. I have been really trying to stretch wake windows to 2-3 hours. My baby also takes short naps too. And usually his second nap of the day I help him go back to sleep because he keeps waking at the 30 min mark. He still needs help getting his nap all the way out. Baby wakes up around the same time my husband wakes up for work. It’s like he knows 😵‍💫 he will usually have a bottle then (4/5 am ish). And then sleep til 7:45/8. Maybe try giving your LO a feed? Just to get more sleep/alone time?? I wish I had help on how to break the cycle. It’s like they just need a few more hours of sleep and then it would be perfect!! Sending love momma. 🩵

My son wakes up at 6am, it would be rare for him to wake up at 7

My lil one sleeps all night since he was about a month old, he would sleep about 4-6 hours and by the time he was 2 months old he sleeps all night. As he gets older he's going to bed earlier. The past couple nights he has been going to bed at 9 and waking up around 8 and sleeps maybe 3 hours all day.

Is this maybe just his circadian rhythm? 6am can be a natural wake up time for a baby unfortunately. My baby can go to bed an hour or 2 late when traveling but also wants to always wake at 6am. But that’s also our routine for daycare days.
