Not sleeping

So my son HATES to be on his back… when he sleeps I lay him down and he will sleep for maybe 10 minutes and wake right back up. When he naps I lay him over my legs and he will sleep for HOURS!! I’m TIRED and I’ve not slept during the night in forever…. And my husband works out of town so he’s not home to help me… Today he slept almost 4 full hours laying like this⬇️

My daughter hates to sleep on her back too! Don’t be scared to lay him on his stomach in his crib/bassinet. He will be okay, just don’t put anything else in the crib so there’s nothing for him to suffocate on ❤️. He can lift up his head on his own right?

Agreed. Make a safe space in his bed, and get some rest! Camera facing him with sound, or even sleep on a mattress in his room by his bed. All of my babies are tummy sleepers! 22yrs all the way down to 8 weeks!

In my country babies usually sleep on their tummies because it promotes deeper sleep and they are overall more comfortable. They also don’t swaddle at all. Today my pediatrician said to avoid a flat head he should nap on his tummy while monitoring. I also have a camera and owlet sock so that helps ease my mind. I say do what you think is best for your kid.

My son will only nap on his tummy. We struggled with naps since one month when he would always wake up the moment we laid him down. One day I put him on his tummy around 8 weeks and he just kept sleeping. So now we do naps on his tummy through the day and he loves it. I still struggle at night while he’s on his back but I’m less exhausted from the day so that helps with nights

Maybe consider an owlet or the nanit breathing band so he can be comfy but monitored?
