What pump should I get through my insurance?

Cord pumps: motif Luna, motif duo, spectra s2, medela pump in style with max flow, lansinoh smart 3.0, zone z2, Philips avent Wearable pumps: baby Buddha 2.0, freemie independence, lansinoh discrete duo. Which one of these do y’all recommend?

I have the Spectra it’s a great plugin! I definitely would get a plug in as they are better for your supply than wearable

Will you be exclusively pumping or just collecting a stash between nursing sessions? A cord is better for your supply, but since you have a toddler you may want to sacrifice that for convenience’s sake and get a wearable one

I love my Luna!

I had a Medela and a Luna pump. The Luna was my favorite though it’s also the one I injured myself on.

I have the Spectra S1 and it’s been phenomenal. Sometimes I do wish I went with a wearable one for convenience.

Will you be a SAHM? Working? Do you plan to exclusively pump or exclusively bf and pump here and there for storage/back up supply

@Natalia stay at home and both

@Jaycee im opting for a wearable as a SAHM, I plan to exclusively breastfeed and only pump if I know I’ll be away from him or he doesn’t empty me. But I want to be as mobile as possible since I have a daughter about to enter school. And then I’ll have a Hakka and a hand pump for any clogs or let down! But the one I’m looking at through insurance is the eufy

I have the lansinoh pump, I think it does good, batteries last a long time too, I don't pump often anymore but I've had it for over a year now and it's doing good still One thing I don't like about it is there's a little hole at the top so if it fills up without you realizing or you bend over then it will spill

The duo is wearable with a pumping bra because you charge the unit. You can also use it plugged in for slightly better suction and no concern for the battery running out. The Motif duo paired with the Luna replacement parts (which I was able to get monthly through insurance despite having the duo initially) is my favorite electric pump combo. It's not discreet, but it is really good, and it's a nice compromise between the mobility of a discreet wearable and the power of a plug-in pump.
