Periods Postpartum

Hi guys! I’m currently 6 months postpartum with my first baby and have yet to have a period. I breastfeed and I’ve heard it can set you back even later but is 6 months without one normal? I’m considering going to the OBGYN but I don’t want to overreact if it’s normal

I am 6 months pp and breast feeding and have no period either my sister didn’t get hers back until over a year pp it’s totally normal and it’s different for everyone when you stop breast feeding is usually when it will start again

This is normal! Breastfeeding tends to delay your period for some time! I didn’t breastfeed so my period came back pretty quick after my birth.

Normal! For my first baby, my period didn’t come back until 7 months PP. Some woman don’t get it back for 12+ months and some get it back after 3 months. It’s different for everyone

I haven’t gotten mine either and was worrying as well! I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’m also breastfeeding.

Cries mine came back at 6 weeks I was breast feeding up til 4 months she’s 6 months yesterday also my 5 th baby

A lot of people won’t get their period back till they stop breastfeeding. I breastfed my second till he was 3 and mine didn’t come back till I had almost fully stopped breastfeeding him. It was the best 4ish years ever with no period 😂
