@Neecy omg yes the separation anxiety is so real! I could leave to go to the kitchen which is still in her sight and she’ll start yelling out right away! It’s hard because I start work when my husband gets home and that’s exactly when it begins so it must be that. I’m wondering if this passes or there’s anything we can do to work through it?
I think it is the start of separation anxiety. I’ve noticed it on our walks in the stroller. If he’s in the car seat option (which he’s almost too big for), he’s fine. But if he’s facing forward in the stroller, he starts crying 😢
Yes around 4pm everyday my LO just freaks out. Nothing makes him happy. I just do everything I can to get him to fall asleep. Im thinking some sort regression? Like developing his brain or something. Hoping its a short phase...
@Hanah N. Oh man when does it pass if it even does 😭
@Stephenie I hope so too bc just when you think you have a rhythm… you don’t 😩
@Benine I googled it!! It sounds like this is the age they start to have separation anxiety ❤️🥹 Supposedly it’ll last around 3 wks But it is considered a good thing! This means that our babies are creating a secure attachment/bond to us. They suggested practicing leaving for shorter periods of time, making “goodbyes” short and sweet/happy, playing peekaboo, I can’t remember what else off the top of my head. But I wanted to share what I learned lol
@Neecy makes sense! Thank you for sharing 🫶🏾
Mine has been SO fussy lately, but I can’t pinpoint it to a certain time of day. I’ve honestly found that he just wants to be close to me, so I try to babywear him or hold him as much as possible. I also think he’s starting to get separation anxiety because I can be holding him in my lap but if he can’t see my face he will start to get upset. As soon as I get on the floor or eye level with him he starts smiling and he’s okay He had been the CHILLEST dude but I think his little dramatic personality is starting to show lol
