Funeral burial question
My MIL funeral is soon and she has asked to be have a church service and then be buried, but the church chosen doesn't have a cemetery, so I don't understand how it works.
If the service is at the church, after the service would she then be moved to another church (about 20mins away) to be buried, do we go up as well?
It's all new to me, never been to a burial funeral before. Just imagined it was like the movies where everyone is stood around the grave.

As above, you will get in your car and follow the hearse up to the place where they can be buried. I'm sorry for your loss x

I'm sorry for your loss. I've only been to one burial. The person was buried at a different location to the service, so after the service, all the guests got into their cars and followed the coffin to the burial location, where we all got out and watched the burial. Hope that helps.
