@Cheyenne thanks for your reply! I see such contradictory information on night pumping and how it will affect supply! Are you an oversupplier?☺️
@Sophie my supply never changed with going so long without pumping during the night.. I never did either time and still manage to keep an over supply of milk. I feed her and the freezer because I’d love to stop pumping at 6 months and feed her the freezer stash up until she’s a year old 🥳😂 also I am an over supplier, I pump 60-65 ounces a day and she only drinks 30 ounces a day the most.
I’m 8 weeks pp and pump every 4”3 hours. 845am, 1145am, 245pm, 545pm, 845pm, 1145pm, 245am, 545am Sometimes I’ll go 4 hours on accident but I try to get back on this schedule as quick as possible The 1145pm pump is the hardest for me and it’s the first one I’ll be dropping when I hit 12 weeks! I’m just hoping my supply doesn’t suffer
I pump around: 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 8pm, and 3am (during night feed) I usually try to nurse once at 6pm also.
My pumping is entirely erratic 😅 I just try to pump 4-5 times a day. I'm 13 weeks PP and haven't been doing a night pump since baby started sleeping through the night. I pump when I first wake up around 7 am and last pump before bed around 10 pm. I'm managing to get 20-25 oz per day and baby only drinks 16-20 oz per day. I am starting to introduce a nursing session in the late afternoon/early evening most days.
My freezer is overstocked from when we were combo feeding and I've officially ran out of freezer space so it's becoming a problem that I'm pumping even a few ounces more a day than what she's drinking.
@Kelli same here! i have completely run out of space in our backup freezer!
6am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm now @ 16 weeks pp. I was on a 6am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm, 7pm around the 9 week pp period. I’ve never done a night pump with either kids. I am also an over supplier so I do the pitcher method that way she always has milk ready for the next day.
