Sex after c section
A little bit of an awkward question but did everyone wait the recommendation 6 weeks ? I have no more pain im barely bleeding (just spotting) and I’m getting the implant next Monday and It’ll be 4 weeks since my c section on that day my incision looks really good and clean . I’m just wondering is it a bad idea to start having sex after four weeks

Me and my husband did other things at 4 weeks and then had full on sex at 5 weeks and I was fine, I would say go with how you feel 👍
i was about 5 weeks when me and my husband did, it didn’t hurt whilst doing so however afterwards i did feel a little uncomfortable around my scar area x
I waited both times. My surgeon did a great job and I didn’t want to damage any of my internal and external scarring. Pissing off your wound during healing can cause permanent changes. Once a scar heals that’s it, like steel. You want your wound beat through all 7 layers. Also orgasms trigger uterine contractions which hurt like a bitch and you are very very fertile right now.

A couple of things to consider before you make your choice, the 6 weeks is not specific to c sections, it’s general advice because it’s about reducing internal infections and you can have a dinner plate size hole where your placenta detaches. Most please are also incredibly fertile after birth so you would need to consider contraceptive options carefully. Personally I’d recommend waiting if you can
