Would love to hear views on this as I am an over thinker 😫

My son is turning 3 in august he has stopped napping on in the day and can be awake for around 13hrs , he’s happy not cranky , he tell me that he doesn’t need a nap when going to bed he sleeps through the night 11-12 hours . I just wanted to know is this a normal transition and should I just follow is lead on this ? Thank you

This is completely natural, I have worked in early years for over 20 years and children stop their naps in the day normally between 2-3 years. Sometimes it’s at the parents request, but if he is instigating it, I would 100% follow his lead. Maybe still have some quiet time in the middle of the day, so he can rest, calm music, no screens, cuddles and stories, that kind of thing xx

Amazing thank you honestly you have made me feel much better about it . Yes that’s what I do we normally have quiet time a cuddle on the sofa . Thank you xx

Yep normal. My son was just 3 when he stoped his naps too. As long as they are getting a good stretch at night it’s all good

Thank you

I mean sometimes he can wake up at 6.00 and not go to bed until 6.45 7.00 is that ok ? X
