We discovered Ms Apple the other day which is definitely beneficial for learning works. I tried Ms Rachel but she annoyed me 😂 we say mummum and dada. Sometimes we get a yes, no and hiya. If we hear a babble that sounds like a real word ww make a big deal of it. So if she says something that sounds like yeah we start talking about what she's saying yeah too. "What's yeah?" "Can you show me what you said yeah too?" That kinda thing. She mostly says yeah and no conversationally like she's joining in on a conversation me and her dad are having 😂
We’ve got about 10 words and even two together (hiya dada) but my son does NOT walk or crawl. Just rolls and bum shuffles to where he needs to be. So don’t worry! They all do it at their own pace and in a different sequence x
My son is saying lots of words and making animal noises etc, probably 15-20 different sounds, but my friend's baby who is 2 days older is only saying mums, dada and dog. The thing is that she is way ahead in gross motor skills so she's almost walking but my son is nowhere near. I think they just all do things in their own time and I don't think you need to worry about speech this early. Just narrate everything you're doing and read lots of books, she'll get there 😊
@Hazel mines the same, my girl is infront with speech and my friends son who is 1 day younger doesn't say as much but his motor skills is more advanced than my daughters
We have Mamma Dadda Nan Nan Gannnndad (sort of) Slight “hiya” Teaching her “Gigi” now as Gina is over from 🇦🇺
My one year old is not saying anything yet! I wouldn’t worry sometimes they pick it up later. One day they’ll start and then never stop!! 🤣 xx
My one year old isn’t saying anything yet 😂. My almost 3 year old said his first word at about 16 months, and he’s a right little chatter box now
Hv don't worry about speech until they are 2! I wouldn't worry. Ny daughter watches miss apple and miss rachel which is where she got a lot of the words she says from. I don't feel like I can take much credit for words she says
