Positive induction stories?

Can I hear some positive induction stories please, all I keep hearing is negative ones and I’m already crapping myself for it! routine growth can turned into babies stomach measurements severely decreasing so being induced on Saturday! 😩😖

My first born was an induced baby

They told me it would take around 72 hours but I gave birth that night to my beautiful baby boy

It can take several days and contractions is really painful , I though I can tolerate that pain, but it was like a hell...but still I managed to do it without emergency c section but with a help....they did a cut and used vacuum on my baby :(( I could not push for too long...because my blood pressure was high and it was not good not for me not for a baby

Hey! So I was so against induction, but my boy was overdue and I developed pre-eclampsia and had to be induced same day. I had the pessary which worked wonderfully for me and sent me into labour. I was in labour for about 72 hours, monitored, once I started getting pretty quick contractions and requesting gas and air I was moved into my room. My midwife was brilliant and talked me through everything and overall it all went very smoothly. The only thing that happened towards the end for me is that doctors didn't listen when I said I could feel baby pushing down so I ended up giving birth naturally on the surgery table haha, I find it funny in hindsight

Induced 3 times. No drama, born within the day ❤️ everyone's different and you tend to hear more of the negative than the positive. ❤️ good luck, you'll do great xx

I went in to be induced- when I got there I was 4cm dilated already so no need for the gel it took them 30 mins to find a space for me in delivery where they broke my waters after that I was getting contractions but they weren’t getting stronger or closer together within the hour so they put me on the drip once on the drip the contractions were intense and closer together- I had gas and air and my little girl was born that same day a few hours later. It was a quick and calm experience for me, everyone’s different there is definitely positive stories too!

With my first I was induced the day before, waters broke the next afternoon and had him naturally at 11:40pm! Xx

Was induced, they put in the pessary and mild contractions started straight away. Built up slowly over 24 hours, got to 5cm, up to the labour ward, gas and air. Had an episiotomy to help her out. Think 5cm to birth was about 8 hours but it was fine. No where near as bad as I was expecting. X

Got induced at 2am had baby at 1:26 was quick and relatively not that bad as far as giving birth goes. It went so fast nobody believed his head was pushing down so I couldn't get an epidural but im happy i didn't get one as it just made for a beautiful experience 💗

I was induced and first on the priority list so got a call in the morning and went in an hour later. They did some checks and at 1pm I was given the pessary which actually sent me into labour! Baby was born at 7.24pm that evening. Not all inductions take days. I just had gas and air. It was a ventouse delivery. Didn’t feel a thing and it was really positive! Not all interventions are scary, they are helpful xx

I was induced with my second, didn’t need anything apart from my waters breaking, didnt need the gel or balloon, didn’t need the drip, then she arrived 4 hours after having my waters broke and we were out the next day

Mine took 4 rounds of induction both the propess and Prostin gel (two of each) which I found okay aswel as two membrane sweeps which was definitely not great… to get my labour started and was in hospital for a week which was very long winded but once I FINALLY hit 4cm she came very quickly and healthily! Wishing you all the best! With a healthy happy mumma and her baby🫶🏻
