I thought they average about 1/2 lb in the last weeks- that’s only 8lb1 …. Plus my chart was saying an 81/2 baby and she was 7lb 7 so not that accurate
Wow that’s shocked me! I had 6lb measurement at 32 weeks which was 100th centile. I would have thought 4 weeks later 6lb would be about average?
They are saying I'm on 90th percentile at the moment and as baby is likely to get bigger, the baby is going to be too big for me to have naturally
Opposite end of the scale, however ultimately the decision is up to you. At 36 weeks after regular growth scan, my little one was measuring small. I was offered an induction from 37+5, baby heart beat was strong, no issue with movements and they check blood flow from placenta to baby. Again absolutely fine. I denied, scanned again at 38 weeks and offered again. With no other issues but instead I was induced at 41 weeks. Baby born 6lbs 13, completely healthy, no complications (well aside from his big head giving me a nasty tear)😂
That’s not big at all, aside from that the measurements can so often be wrong. Nobody can tell you how to give birth so if you don’t want to choose either of those options then you don’t have to
