Successful vbac

For those that have had successful vbacs? Did you go over your due date, if so by how much? Did you get induced? I’m getting closer to my due date and really want a vbac, I was 2 weeks over last pregnancy when I got induced and I’m really worried I’ll either go over again or that they will push induction before 40 weeks.

One of the nurse practitioners wanted me to be induced at 39 weeks and I refused. I gave my body all the time I was comfortable giving it with the risks and was induced at 41 weeks and had a successful VBAC, super short labor and only a few pushes!

With my first pregnancy I was induced at 41+3 ending in a C-section the following day. I had a VBAC three weeks ago after going into labour spontaneously at 38+3! I couldn’t believe it as I was convinced I would be late again and I really didn’t want another induction. So you really never know - birth is very unpredictable!

I was 4 days over first time and 3 days early this time. Went into spontaneous labour but needed the hormone drip to get more regular contractions as I was 24 hours + of my waters breaking and only contacting 1-2 in 10

I got induced at 41 weeks exactly. I really didn’t want to be and they kind of sprung it on me too. (Literally just called and said, we’ve booked you in to come and be induced 3 days before). I was getting fed up so I just went in. However i was still able to use the birthing centre as the foley balloon had worked and had my waters broken. I would have defo pushed back if they tried to induce me before 41 weeks. But it’s really up to you. I spent the 24 hours I had the balloon in, upright the whole time and walking up and down and bouncing on the ball and I really think that helped. Good luck xx

I was induced due to blood pressure issues at 41+2 and delivered at 41+3, I found they were happy to let me go 10 days over then they were likely to push, I would have refused though as long as me and baby were okay (in the end I accepted after being blue lighted to hospital, even though my blood pressure issues are actually white coat syndrome 😂)

I was induced at 41+2 I think it was and I had him at 42 weeks x
