@Ally thank you for that, I feel like I’m failing 😩 x
I would suggest trying to phase out the rocking and work on self settling. While they are still dependent on you to sleep they can always pop up all night cause when they get to the end of a cycle they wake up realise you aren't there then need your help again. We just mastered cot settling and she's sleeping 10-12 hours at a time with two 2 hour naps a day. We just kiss her on the head, put her down and walk away and she is straight off to sleep with no fuss. Life changing x
@Chloe ur not failing at all. We went through the 4 month regression and that was awful. Sometimes my boy sleeps through he's now 9.5 months and sometimes he'll wake only once or what feels like a million times lol. I'll try and pop his dummy in 1st and leave him and see if he settles. I know when he won't. If I think its his teeth I'll give him a dose of nurofen and that settles him and I'll give him a bottle aswell. Sleep deprivation is awful whether its one night or 10 xcc
@Chloe my girl hit 6 months and was awful 🙈 she started waking for feeds in the night too which she originally dropped at 2 months. Long stretches awake at night could be due to too much day sleep but false starts earlier in the night can be due to being over tired 😅 I would play around with her naps a little and see if that helps. My girl went back to normal around 8 months and now usually sleeps through
@Natalie thank you for your suggestions and help! In the day time I would either rock/cradle her to sleep or feed to sleep. What would you say I could do in this situation?
Sometimes there's no rhyme or reason for them waking a million times. It could be anything. Regression, developmental, teething, hungry, cold, over tired under tired or not well. It's just shit when they do x
