Medical items

Realizing that I don’t really have any medical items except for a thermometer for my 6 week old. What are so must haves to have on hand? Like Tylenol and what not? Can anyone give a general list of what you have in case baby is sick or something’s wrong?

My husband is a doctor with a bunch of doctor friends and one of them (who is also a mom) recommended one of those baby medicine kits. The one we got has a few items from the little remedies brand, including drops for gas, some for fever/pain reliever, a saline spray, gripe water (which we use multiple times daily for hiccups), a diaper rash cream and the syringes to administer everything and one of those suction things for their mouth/nose. It also includes a rectal thermometer. If you live in the US and have an HSA/FSA, there are kits that are eligible.

Thermometer and electric nasal aspirator and baby nasal spray. Otherwise we just buy anything as needed.

I have a medicine pacifier that works great! The syringe connects to it. It's not a necessity but it makes it easier for us.

Must haves as a mom of two, feverall suppositories 160mg, saline sprays make sure to not over use it, automatic nose aspirator ,digital thermometer to use rectal , water thermometer as well! Also always have an oatmeal lotion in hand for rashes or anything skin related i noticed thats my go to for any skin issue
