Screaming and crying in sleep
My 6 month old has suddenly started hysterically crying out in his sleep, often his eyes are still shut and it’s 0-100 hysterical crying with real tears. It can sometimes take him a good few minutes to settle and calm once I’ve picked him up and soothed him.
It’s so distressing and upsetting 😥 does anyone’s else’s baby do this? Is it something to be concerned by?

Yes! Done it several times during his naps and now once during the night. Can only think something is uncomfortable, tummy pain or teething pain?
My LG does that randomly as well and has done for a while (not on a regular basis though). When we check her, she's fast asleep and a shush and stroking her head settles her. She doesn't wake with it either so it's odd. She did it last night for the first time in about a month and it scared the shit out of me as it woke me up x
Literally finished typing that and she did it 🙈 we've noticed it happens when she's in a leap weirdly
My little boy has done this the past couple of nights! It’s awful.
Oh thank god this has made me feel so mum better! I was getting really worried 😭
