If you had a hard time producing breast milk and your sister is also breastfeeding her baby AND is overproducing AND offered to give you milk, would you give your baby her breast milk?

That used to be a very common thing. I had read that it helps build immunity even more.

My best friend is going to use mine when her baby comes because she’s going to give birth early and her milk might not be in.

Absolutely. If she didn't mind giving me her extra milk I'd Absolutely take it. Except if she is a drinker/ smoker/ drug user. I over produced and fed 3 other children consistently in the 1st year from my local community group via fb.
