Yes we're having a girl this time too! I think most of our newborn clothes are at my mums, so need to go through those too. 3.5years later also!!
It’s so hard when you have another child to look after! My little boy is 18 months and I’m exhausted all the time too! I’ve just done it in stages. When the weather is nice I’ve put a baby wash on and got it outside, it’s made me feel better! This week (near me) it’s supposed to be really warm, so things will be coming off the hanger and straight into the wash 🤣! Nothing like clothes on a line that makes you feel like you’ve got your shiz together ! 🤣 x
We're going away next week 🫣, which will be nice but will be missing out on the washingline weather!!!
We're also wanting to change the bedrooms around and potentially only have 7 weekends left to do it in so our lb gets a bigger room and then we can set up our room with the next2me and stuff otherhalf thinks it can all be done in a day lmao 🤣
It’ll come right don’t worry! Hopefully we get lucky with some half decent weather for more than a week 🤣. x
It's going to go so fast now!!! Will task my mum with the sorting and washing once we get back 🫢. As long as there's somewhere for her to sleep, nappies, clothes and milk we will manage 🤣🤣
I did see this bottle which I thought looked good for the hospital https://www.amazon.co.uk/Maternity-Drinking-Pregnancy-Breastfeeding-Recovery/dp/B01B6KJPYY?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0BMABhZGlkAAAGDA2uZpEBHqx3faSYPBWL7piyOwraMogyqhgjukxgNyExWKN3t8iEcwMLElxqAKsRH-O2_aem_Rm0soQ0kJp2Ino_xakSNNA&utm_medium=paid&utm_source=fb&utm_id=6648838747937&utm_content=6648838750737&utm_term=6648838749337&utm_campaign=6648838747937
When should I start washing all the baby clothes?xx
I'm going to start in a couple weeks time around 32/33weeks as I also have gestational diabetes this time under control thankfully but never knownif they go we want to induce you earlier and we're going away at 35weeks so ideally want it done before then
@Laura I'm 29 weeks and a few days. I'll get started soon. Do you only wash the first few months or everything x
Just gonna do the newborn, and 0-3 for now as you wouldn't want the rest washed and it start to smell funny when left in a box or cupboard don't give yourself more work lol
@Shanice There is no pressure to do it at all!🫶🏼. It’s just personal preference. I washed every single thing the first time round, but this time I’ve just done the main bits and bobs! I would just do what you’re going to use in the first few weeks, and then the rest will get washed naturally! I always found it was nice to wash their bedding, muslins and baby grows because it just smells soooo scrummy and clean! Xxx
With you on this i could've written this myself like we have all of that also got abloft full of clothes I need to sift through and pick out the gender neutral as we're having a girl this time and then wash all the new and old stuff buy some breastfeeding equipment and new next2me mattress as its been folded in the loft for 3.5yrs almost lol
