Oh mamma, I’m sorry you are going through such a tough season with your baby. Here is what helped us Moving the crib into his own room. He was in our bedroom in the crib but I think hearing us move around and smelling me was causing him to wake up. Following a 90min-2 hr waking window during the day. If you bottle feed or pump I usually give me kid a 5 oz breast milk bottle before bed to ensure he’s not waking bc he’s hungry. Take shifts with your partner so you both can get decent stretches of sleep at night Sometimes we let him fall asleep in his swing. We monitor his sleep while in the swing but it’s the only way he will sleep at times Wishing you lots of strength and
@Sandra thanks. We don’t have her room set up yet as we figured she’d be in with us for a while. My son slept in our room til he was 2. She eats before bed and we started giving oatmeal at dinner to help fill her up. It helped the first couple of nights. My husband is a truck driver and wakes up early so needs his sleep so unfortunately can’t really help with the baby at night. He does help with the toddler though (who is also waking up and wanting to sleep with us 😩)
@MK even though they’re specifically crib mattresses? I know not to add anything like mattress toppers or anything. My husband is a truck driver and wakes up early so unfortunately can’t really help with the baby at night. He does help with the toddler though (who is also waking up to sleep with us 😩)
I have a bassinet that is basically the same size as a crib that has a side that rolls down, so you can put it up against the bed. It also has wheels.
@MK thank-you I just assumed there was some kind of regulations. Now I’m questioning the one we have now. They shouldn’t be able to sell stuff that’s not safe!
@Jasmine can you share a link or what you have?

This sounds like a sleep regression. It typically happens around large growth/learning spurts and unfortunately it's pretty common for the first year. Personally, I wouldn't do a memory foam mattress because it's a suffocation risk, crib mattresses are made breathable for a reason. Is your husband able to give you breaks to get some sleep? Is she sleeping during the day more? Also, try not to be so hard on yourself, you're doing a great job. Running on no sleep is definitely hard.
