Illness and feeding

Hey My little girl has just overcome a chest infection, after two colds and popping a new tooth šŸ˜…. Solids have gone out the window. Iā€™m offering, sheā€™s refusing, Iā€™ve tried finger, spoon feeding etc. Has anyone else experienced this? I have her 9-12 month review tomorrow and Iā€™m panicking because we were at oneā€¦

Allergens

So this is my 3rd baby and I don't know why but I've found this weaning journey , the hardest . Our LG is 10months old .... she won't really entertain any sort of puree I try to give , she immediately turns her head away.... I don't want to stress her so I try 2 or 3 times and if she still turns away I just leave ...

Hi girlies! Drowning in guilt as a first time mum and could use some advice! Xx

My little one is almost 1, sheā€™s EBF and has been terrible with both sleep and food for as long as I can remember. I stopped giving her meals 3 times a day since about 9 months. And just offered her bits of what I was having and food while we were out here and there. I was advised to do this to alleviate the stress...

Weaning

My little boy is 6 months and I want to try him with baby porridge. He has a milk allergy and is currently on Aptamil Pepti 1. Weā€™ve been told we have to go to a group to get ideas for weaning etc. That isnā€™t till 20th Dec and he will be over 7 months then. Do people have any ideas? Our little girl has no allerg...

What freezer meals do you wish you had in the early postpartum days?

My bestie is due next month and I wanted to prep some easy freezer meals for her and her husband. I remember my early postpartum days it was so hard to cook (time, energy, lack of free hands) - looking back I wish I had a freezer meal prep party instead of a huge baby shower. Looking for any meal ideas to help my be...

He said I'm worried about baby because I've eaten probably 10 reeses trees today. Lol. I said people do crack. We are okay šŸ¤£. Tell him he is being dramatic when this man eats pizza at least once a week.

Melt sticks

Hi, does anyone know how many or how often baby should have the melty sticks? I find them so good to keep baby entertained or quiet when out having dinner but not sure if there is a recommended max amount. He's only really had 3 at a time before. Thank you

Baby eating

My LO is 9 months old and he still hasnā€™t learned how to chew food. Heā€™s still on puree baby food. I scared he will never learn. He has tried eggs three times and all the times he has thrown it back up. I donā€™t know what Iā€™m doing wrong šŸ˜© feeling very sad and defeated.

Moms who donā€™t give processed foods or grains yet what are you feeding your baby?

I feel like Iā€™m out of healthy ideas baby wants what I eat now but I am not going to be giving grains or processed foods for a while. Mostly purĆ©es since baby doesnā€™t chew the best yet but the interest in those has gotten low

Toddler so active hard time with sitting to eat

My son (22 months) has always been so active and recently heā€™s been refusing to sit in a high chair to eat on top of going through tantrums out of nowhere. Whenever he comes home from daycare he starts throwing fit as soon as weā€™re inside our home. And then after heā€™s calm he does not want to go into his high chair....

My LO IS 7 months next week and Iā€™m so so stressed over feeding her finger foods extra, to the point Iā€™m actually shaking when it comes to trying, Iā€™ve been giving her a rusk and tried her with some crisps but Iā€™m finding it so hard to just let her do it herself, Iā€™m a single mom and I have a lot of help from my mom...

Solid starts app

My little girl is 9 months and a half old and she likes only purƩes and veggie straws the ones you buy on supermarket. I am trying so hard for her to like finger foods but is not working. Heard a lot of good things for solid starts app how it helps with weaning. Has anyone used it and if so have you payed for longer...

Cooking

My bf doesn't cook. He can cook but just chooses not to. Not a huge deal, I don't mind cooking, especially since he works and is in school. What gets me though is sometimes I'm stumped on what to cook. He is so god damn picky, pickier than my daughter. I'll try to make a list of foods he wants but the next week or t...

Fussy eater

Anyone elseā€™s 10 month old suddenly become a picky eater? LG has always enjoyed her food and would happily eat whatever I gave her, blended home made food, shop bought pouches and blw style foods etc. Suddenly she now refuses near enough everything and pushes my hand away if I try to feed her. I thought she just w...
