Salt and sugar

I’ve been trying to find good, fun recipes to make for my baby so she can eat it with her hands etc. However, I keep finding that people online recommend a lot of things that contain sugar/salt. I see tons of BLW recipes with a lot of cheese (and even vegan cheese as an alternative, which has no nutritional value) w...

Are you eating your child’s Easter eggs?

My 15 month old son has been gifted 8 Easter eggs from family and friends in total. He has had chocolate before as a treat but only tiny amounts. I have terrible mum guilt when I even think about eating his Easter eggs but I can’t possibly give him 8. He also still has chocolate left over from Christmas that I can’t...

12month old not taking cows milk.

Hi everyone, I could really use some advice. My little boy just turned one, and he was doing so well with baby-led weaning. He wasn’t the most advanced, but he was happily feeding himself finger foods and making steady progress. Then about six weeks ago, teething hit hard — four new teeth came in, and since then ev...

Any advice on how to manage the fussy eating my daughter is currently facing? Nursery says she eats brilliantly but at home it’s becoming very different, with a lot of refusal. Any help or guidance welcomed :)

Baby Utensils Introduction

When did you guys start letting your baby use their own utensils to eat with? My girl is almost 16 months and up to this point she’s either fed herself with her hands or I had fed her with a fork or spoon. I have OCD so I am trying to get over her being a messy eater when it comes time, but any tips or advice would ...

Hungry baby!

So I started my baby with purées since about 4.5m because he was interested and ready. I’ve now added more solid foods. And no matter how much solids he eats, he continues to drink the same amount of breastmilk. I know “food before one is just for fun” but even after I’ve fed him, if I begin eating anything, he will...

My baby won’t eat this

My little girl would not eat any of the food I cooked for her, she won’t eat freshly made food, and I have to give her something else either toast or Ella’s kitchen pouches (savory ones) or yogurt. 5 out of 10 times she would reject the food I made for her. I’m not a great cook and not very creative. But it’s gettin...
