5 days PP, It was another sleepless night

Not because of the newborn this time but because I'm having body aches and muscle pain. It's hard for me to get comfortable 24/7. I'm hoping it goes away as I recover. It feels much like pulled muscles all over. Tylenol and ibuprofen doesn't help.

Nap vs feed schedule

How is everyone balancing their little one’s naps and feeding schedules?? As an example my 3 week old daughter’s last feed started at 11.40, she finally fell asleep for her nap at 1.20 so she was awake for 1hr50mins. If we adhere to the 3 hour feed schedule she would start her next feed around 2.40 which gives her 4...

Sleep

I know they say comparison is the thief of joy but it’s so hard NOT to compare. I see so many people say their babies are sleeping 5 or more hours at night by this age (9 weeks). And my baby isn’t. He sleeps at most 3 hours now. But it’s been mostly 2.5 at a time. And I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I hate th...

She used to be a really good napper but a few works ago started doing the 30 - 40 mins max naps and is harder to settle to get them in however within 30/40 mins of waking she’s wanting ...

Contact naps only

My 9 week old is only doing contact nap, the moment I lay him down he wakes up in 5 minutes but can contact nap for hours. He was sleeping in his snooz pod until he was 6-7ish weeks, it changed over last few weeks. I love holding him but it’s so hard to eat or even go to toilet when he is contact napping. Anyone go...

Sleeping and milk struggles

My babe naps for half an hour and no more, but it’s multiple times a day. And now at night she wakes up every 20 minutes? Am I doing something wrong? She always thinks she needs to eat at night but it’s really just latching to go back to sleep, making me have to co sleep but I’m not sleeping because who can. During ...

1 nap issue

Has anyone else dropped from 2 to 1 naps and found that their baby is waking more overnight as a result? I don’t know whether it’s coincidence. He was fighting 2 naps a day, so I’ve dropped to 1 but now he’s waking more overnight and I’m not sure what to do. Any words of wisdom / advice greatly appreciated!

7 month old not sleeping in cot

Hey, so as soon as my little one turned 6 months we transitioned his next to me to a cot. Since then he has refused to sleep in his cot for naps and night sleep. Other than the cry out method I’ve tried everything to get him to sleep independently. Even the naps now have gotten worse sometimes he wants to be held th...

Baby crying in sleep and waking up

Sometimes my baby boy is fast asleep then does a loud cry, wakes himself up then once he is awake he stops? I am holding him while this happens so maybe that’s why he stops when he wakes up as he knows I’m there. Could this just be because while he’s asleep he doesn’t realise I’m there? Or is he having a mini nigh...

Baby waking after 5 hours sleep

The past few nights, baby has been waking after 5 hours sleep and has been hard to get back down to sleep. Previously baby slept around 9 hours straight. Early morning feed?

My baby wakes up around 5am, has a feed and goes back to sleep until 7/7:30am. But because of the feed he isn’t hungry when he wakes for the day and not really interested in his bottle at all. Does this happen to anyone else? I’ve already reduced the bottle from 8oz to 5oz but it hasn’t made much difference
