My 18 month defs isn’t putting sentences together which I think is quite normal for her age but says maybe 10 or so words, I’m not exactly sure how many though

Mines 17 months old! She can say some words and is learning what things are. No sentences yet! They learn so quickly it’s crazy!

Each baby develops at their own pace, my Bub is 18 months on the 30th and says a few short phrases like “what’s this” “we go” “go car” “wake up” and says around 30 words so far with meaning/understanding, she understands a lot more though. I wouldn’t stress too much.

Around 50 words, starting to put two words together like “Where Puppa” or “Nanny Here” and “Ouch, Sorry”

He is 18 months at the end of May.

My son says little things like “baby boy, look that, what’s that” and other little words but not full sentences and he understands a lot as well when we talk to him

My son is also 18 months now

Def not speaking sentences! She understands heaps though. Can say mumma and daddy, "shhu" for shoe, "wower" for shower and flower, "bubba" for baby, bubble..."burple" for the purple fork 😆 "ba" for ball...etc.

My little one is just on 18 months and says around 10 words. Never a couple together, and prefers to use gestures and head nods. I’ve been singing and talking with her and encouraging speech since birth, so I know that she’s just not there yet, though I wish she was!

My little one says 7 words 😰 I’ve just had a referral for a speech therapist from our GP. My doctor doesn’t seem to be to concerned and mentioned boys develop slower in regards to speech.

Def all different. My lo says lots of words and can do most animal noises. She puts a few 2 word ‘sentences’ together like where daddy or hi daddy or Pouppie go (our cat). She also tries to mimick songs and and says tickle tickle star up up 😆 and she can sort of count but I don’t think she quite gets what it means yet. She’s a parrot for sure. The rate of learning new things is incredible. A friend’s toddler couldn’t talk at 2 and they were a bit worried. Now he’s 5 and the biggest chatter box so don’t worry as long as they understand so you know it’s not a hearing issue.

Probably about 40-50 but not consistently and not pronounced well.
