@Cierra I finally caved in and took some Tylenol. Then I knocked out.
Yes! The nausea has went away sorta but the headaches have started š„²
Such bad headaches, they last all day! Started end of my first trimester, I am 17 weeks and still getting them. My doctor told me I can take 400mg of Tylenol a couple times a day if I need to and itās safe
15 weeks and I've been having the headaches for sure!
The headaches are the worst! They came out of no where š
Tylenol is very dangerous!
Oh, that what it is, I thought I just got cold)) I got my headache yesterday But I didnāt drink enough. I think if to drink a lot it would be much better!
Both!! I drink almost a gallon of water a day but my doctor said I could still be dehydrated which is why Iām getting headaches. I added 1 LMNT package a day for additional hydration and my headaches disappeared. Thank goodness!
@Elena Tylenol is on my safe list of OTC medications from my obgyn.
Yessss the worsttttt
@Elena I thought it was Advil that you couldnāt take. I think Tylenol is good to go!
@Katie Sechrest Iād been feeling great the last two weeks of my first trimester and I was like whaaat?? I thought it was supposed to get easier lol.
@Danielle my first trimester was so easy, and now Iām also getting headaches, maybe Iām not drinking enough water?? The worst! Haha
@Katie Sechrest for me it was on and off but towards the end it was a breeze and now the headaches started lol. Iām drinking as much as I can at this point. But ughhhh your body definitely goes through things lol.

Reading article on Babylist : Tylenol While Pregnant: Risks & Concerns While acetaminophen is largely considered the safest pain reliever to take while pregnant, itās not without some risks. Emerging research suggests a possible association between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and a small increase in the likelihood of asthma, ADHD and autism in children. More recently, a concensus among a group of scientists was published, claiming that prenatal exposure to acetaminophen (Tylenol) may alter fetal development. My doctor said you can take but she highly do not recommend š¤·š¼āāļø
May be naps will be helpful
@Elena I read about some of it, but from what my doctor told me as long as you arenāt taking the safe over the counter medications like candy, thereās no reason for concern. I guess every doctor is different.
The HEADACHES. OMG. Killed me. Also the fatigue is insane. Im 16 weeks in 2 days and I cannot wait to get to the point I feel better. Headaches stopped for me after the first week but I just have no motivation because im so fatigued.
Headaches almost daily. And the extreme fatigue is so frustrating. Iām ready to have my energy back!
@Katie Sechrest Tylenol is going through a large lawsuit at the moment because itās be found that women who took it while pregnant had babies with autism. Itās absolutely not okay to take during your pregnancy
Iāve never had a headache like this before, youāre not alone. Iām exhausted and my head is pounding. Iāve been using those ice eye masks.
@Nina lol Iām just going to follow my doctorās directions. Lawsuits are not direct reliable resources for medical advice. I trust that my doctor and advice since thatās what they deal with on a day to day basis. Sheās never stirred me wrong.
@Ashley girl I hope it donāt stick that way I was looking forward to the boost of energy I kept reading about! Lol!
Tylenol is considered to be safe during pregnancy. With every drug there are risks but we have to consider other factors when looking into these studies such as life style, environment, etc from the demographic of people that are being studied. There are a multitude or reasons why children are born with Autism and ADHD so we really have to be caution when we make certain claims. Always check with your OB on what is safe. Your well being is also super important and if you feel the need to take something safe like Tylenol please do so ā„ļø Ps Iām a registered nurse :)
@Zainab thank you Zainab and all that you do!
@Danielle thank you :)!
Yess big headaches everyday half way through the day probably from fatigue but if Iām not at work Iām usually napping
Yes! All the things I expected in the first trimester seem to have hit now that Iām in the second. I was looking forward to a burst of energy.
i had major fatigue first trimester which has subsided, but the headaches are for sure still there. i found drinking a combination of body armor and water helped me more than just water.

The headaches are so bad!!!
Iām having that now.
@Sara might need to give that a shot.
Headache, fatigue, lightheaded, racing heart, and shortness of breath. I thought it was all supposed to get better by the second trimester. I need to get back to work soon and all of these symptoms are making it impossible šš©
@Nina thatās what Iāve seen and read and believe as well and it makes me uncomfortable to take it. Iāve read other things about Tylenol also preventing your body from being able to detox. So it scares me. But my doctor and everyone in the medical field says take Tylenol not Advil. I looked up Advil and after 20 weeks that doesnāt appear a safe option either. So itās just a really hard decision because sometimes these headaches: I just need something.
Absolutely I just entered my second trimester and these headaches have been non stop
I started to have migraines on my week 9th and itās been everyday (13 week now). Iām not taking a Tylenol.. naps not always helpful. I recommend to check hemoglobin, anemia must be present. I was straggling to eat in the beginning because of this morning sickness. I added to my diet a lot of leafy greens, like in every time I take food. Red caviar, beets, all red berries, eggs, fish. Iām vegetarian, so Iām not adding meat. But you can add any liver. So after changing my diet itās been much easier. When itās really really severe migraines, big glass of Coke will help ( obviously not for every day). Wet cold towel compress on your forehead, get it cold every 15 min. Less light and less noise. And also acupuncture helps a lot! Release headaches right away.
@Serena itāll get better just give it time. Youāre making a human after all.
@Yana my sister said cold coke Iāll have to try that. Luckily I woke up feeling a little better.
@Jamie yeah that hit me as soon as I got to 14 weeks.
@Danielle Hi Danielle, I'm 17 weeks and I started having intense migraines towards the end of my first trimester until now almost on a daily basis. I even went to the ER twice bc of it. š© My doctor also prescribed me Tylenol and magnesium but taking them didn't help. What's helped me manage the pain is using a cold compress on my head and laying down, and no lights on. I know some are saying drink water but that doesn't help when its severely intense head pain. I'm relatively small and was drinking more water than what OB suggested for me. Also, check my blood pressure everything was fine so they were even confused why the headaches weren't getting better! My last ER visit doc gave me a "cocktail" safe for pregnancy headaches and it actually worked. Ask your doctor about it if the prescription acetaminophen with Magnesium doesn't work for you.
@Candice thanks for the advice! I feel pretty good today, but Iāll definitely look into it again if things do not improve.
Yep got better going on week 18
