I agree. He already knows everything going on anyways but for us to confide in Him intimately gives Him great joy. He delights in the desires of our hearts. When we stope thinking of Him as the creator of the world, though He is, and really start looking at Him and speaking to Him as our father, like we do our own daddys, then you will see a change in your prayer life. Drawing near to Him in an i timate conversation instead of just a blaket prayer to the creator will do wonders for you. How much would we do for our own children??? He wants to do the same for us. Ask Him for anything. You may not get everything but you will be surprised at what you do get. I even ask for frivolous things. Doesnt mean i’ll get them but He will sometimes surprise you with something because he delights in the desires of our hearts according to His will. Talk to Him like you would a friend.
