People give away baby gear/clothes all the time, I’ve spent practically nothing on my kid’s stuff, just being willing not go second hand makes a difference, just saying.

@Grace I think that a lot of the time it depends on where you live, I’ve just seen you live in the US, this post was to do with the UK … I personally was lucky to get lots of baby clothes from friends but i definitely didn’t see much free/cheap things going otherwise 🤷🏻‍♀️
