I spent a week in Singleton being induced/after delivery back in January. Breakfast options mainly consisted of cereal and bread. I can't remember all of the lunch options I had, but it was mainly jacket potato, fish and chips, mac and cheese, and a variety of sandwiches. Dinner options were fairly similar to the lunch options but differed depending on what you had for lunch. I didn't really like much of it, so I mainly relied on my partner and parents bringing me food in during visiting🤣
I do seem to remember there being vegan options, but I can't remember what they were sorry! And on the Sunday I was in, the dinner options were Sunday dinner.
Back in 2022 it was quite good for hospital food I thought and they always had a veggie and vegan option but may not be suitable. We didn't have vouchers for the canteen then as it was still closed to patients I think. Breakfast was worst, bread or cereal but otherwise lunch and dinner were good. Hasn't always been that way though I will say haha. There were a few times I told my partner not to get me anything as I loved what options were on 🤣 but they can always bring you stuff too and there's a fridge you can use if needed. They put stuff in there for you with your name on and can grab it for you then too. I was in 15 days and didn't get sick of it or anything xx
I’ve just come out- breakfast there was toast and cereal options Lunches/ dinners there were chips, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, fruit, salmon/ broccoli bake, chicken dinners, different tray bakes, sausages etc
When I was there last year. Chips. Jacket potato. Lasagne was on a rota with them. If you don't like anything. They do offer you vouchers to get from the cafe
