Girls names

Ok so I’m having a baby girl and I thought I had a name picked out (Matilda) however I’m not sure I love it as much as I did. I had a list of other names but my mum and dad don’t like any of them and have put me off them. I love unique names and I really need your help to make a list of other names. My list of the others I did like were Vivianna, Ottilie, Elodie, Waverley - rose. Please could you put girl names / unisex names that are not extremely common in the comments. I’m just really stuck now. Also I know I shouldn’t care what my family think and that it’s my choice but I don’t think I can pick a name I know they don’t like or think is stupid.

I was in a similar boat, I didn’t want my girl going to school with other girls that have her name lol. I used the BabyCenter app to look at how common certain names were/are. You look up the name and it gives a line graph of how many babies were born with that name per million every year

I named my lg Harper I loved it as soon as I heard it. My family went too keen but now they love it

If my baby is a girl she is going to be Alba Rose 🤍 other names I got are only Noelle , Novie , Nephele Nola ,Sienna and Adeline

I was the same! we LOVED the name Veronica until we found out we were having a girl and all of a sudden didn't like it?? like it just didn't seem right. so strange 😂 Prudence is a favourite of mine 🫶

We were similar, I had loved Penelope for forever but when we found out we were having a girl I felt unsure on it plus I knew of a few people who had used that name & seemed to be getting fairly popular.. we/ I liked Esme Evelyn Orla Freya Penny Summer Etta But we went with Robyn

My daughter is Sabrina. I just met a toddler called Elodie and I thought it was beautiful! I also know a Primrose and an Ona.

My boyfriend loved Matilda but I didn't love it however we both loved Tilly which is usually a nickname for Matilda. Don't know if this helps but would share 😊

Those names u picked are beautiful. I picked my daughter's first name and my hubby picked her middle name but I had a say. My brother didn't like the name I picked out but I told him she's my daughter not his and besides I was in love with the name and I didn't bother looking for another. I felt the same way about my son's name too
