No you should ask. It is not good for you and your baby. I have a bad experience just after doing also. It depends on your work as well.
I’m the same! No risk assessment for me either and I’m 33 weeks x
Sounds just like my place of work. I should have had one done during each trimester but they forgot the second one. Rarely checked in with me go see if I needed anything
I never had one, but I know if I’d asked for one I would have had one so if it’s bothering you, definitely ask!
You should have a risk assessment at every trimester. I had one at 12 weeks and once at 28 weeks.
I work in HR. A risk assessment should be done when u tell ur employment ur pregnant and then at regular intervals. If u are worried about ur h&s at work u need to speak up. If u have no concerns cos ur office based at a desk n no real risk then don't worry. Alot of employments epically small ones don't know what they have to do so if u know, tell them ur rights n ask 4 it.
You should have already had multiple - I would personally be looking at legal action for the neglect.
ive had 3 risk assessments 😱im a carer who does a lot of moving and handling tho so not sure if thats something to do with it ? definitely look into it xx
Have you asked for one or are you waiting for them to offer? Depending on the kind if work you do there may not be any changes/adjustments required.
I had a risk assessment at 16 weeks and that’s about it, I go on maternity in 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything even when I’ve asked I’ve been told to ask someone else especially about maternity pay etc
@Maeve just to add to this, a risk assessment is a legal requirement even if there aren’t adjustments to make as this can’t be determined without an actual discussion about it. Workplace should always offer it first but you can also request one whenever you want.
My manager didn’t have a clue. She told me to start completing one….i then got H&S involved, but only ended up having 2 done and that was after me chasing
I'm 33 weeks and my "risk assesment" was filling out a questionnaire and that was it... Not really sure if that counts 🙈🤷 definitely didn't feel very thorough, but maybe that's all it is?
I had a risk assessment done when I first told them I was pregnant around 15 weeks & they would constantly check in and update to see if I needed any adjustments or work needed to provide me with any xx
