Hi, I’ve got a family history of early PMP too. I’ve recognised at first that my period has changed in length and intensity. And horrendous night sweats, which reminded me of the sweating I had just months after giving birth. It’s important to know that these symptoms can go on for years and years before you having your last menstruation. X

@Birgit well last month I had 2 periods in 1 month and just slightly over 2weeks apart and both lasted 7days my periods use to last between 7 to 10 days usually and I am also usually on every 3weeks from when I last finished and not I'm in June was due on 21st and nothing, I've fely nauseous this morning in the pit of my stomach and yes I've also taken a pregnancy test and was negative thank god, I've also noticed some other symptoms like night sweats I'm waking up around the 3-4 and turning on my fan I'm that warm and done of my pms /period symptoms have changed from months to month I also get ovulation pain as well which is very uncomfortable. I went to see the doctor today as it's been bothering me and basically she's told me to wait till next wee and take another test and if I miss another period to thrn call in again I'm so confused it's annoying

A lot of things can cause a change of your periods.. wait for a couple of cycles to go by and then contact GP again, if it’s still irregular. There’s a blood test, GP can take it and compare different hormones, and it’ll help figure out if it’s Perimenopause.

@Birgit Yeah I know I hate waiting around not knowing why I'm feeling nauseous/ sick to the pit of my stomach so much I couldn't finish off my apple this afternoon and felt nauseous this morning as well xx

For me it’s been joint pain, severe mood swings, loss of libido dry nose, and then more recently changes to my cycle. Not especially early for me as I’m 44 but I’ve been surprised by the number of throngs that can be explained by PM.
