Spare time

Hey moms! What do y’all do in your spare time while you’re waiting for your due date? I’m 35 + 2 days & it seems like the day is just dragging. I washed everything just waiting til it gets closer to put the bassinet together & wash baby bottles.

Time to start exercising (walking). Sorry no other tips as I was busy with a 7 year old and working still.

With my first, I was in a prenatal group in person weekly to socialize and we then made up other events to do together

@Nai yea I could do that in the morning since I can’t handle the heat 🥵 & at night. Thank you 😊

@Erika ehhh I know the feeling but it will be good for labor. You’re welcome and wish you a smooth and healthy delivery.

I'm working :'k

I feel you, I'm off early due to getting bells palsy. 35 weeks and 3 days, feels like the days are dragging and just ready to get the show on the road already. We go for walks but the constant peeing and lower abdomen pressure from her head is super uncomfortable. I can definitely see how it will help with labor though. Mainly been spending time resting, I'm napping a lot. Taking the dog out to the park and beach, that's about it. I don't know about you but I only have enough energy for one activity per day...

I think once my son starts summer school time will go by fast again. I just liked working bc it made my pregnancy go faster lol

@Kristen yessss!! Awhh…I wish I lived near a beach! I would love that! Is this your 1st child?

@Erika yes working definitely made it go faster! I miss work a bit honestly but it's good to have some rest. Yes 😊 this is my first child and I feel like I have no idea what I'm getting into 😅 living near the beach is the absolute best, we are very fortunate to what i believe is live in one of the best places in north America but sadly cost of living is so expensive in vancouver BC (Canada). I can't wait to take her on walks at the beach in her stroller, Happy she's coming in summer! 🙌 plus not being pregnant through the full summer due to those hot days 🥵

Eat, stretches on yoga ball to losen up, and binge tv and movies

Work has been ramping up but I’m making time for nesting

Walking, swimming, yoga - I also have a bunch of crafty projects on the go, could be a good time to try something new like crochet, embroidery etc. I also have a toddler but she’s at nursery during the week. I’ve arranged a bunch of things with friends like brunches, and walks etc. I feel you, I need to keep busy otherwise I start going insane….

I spent yesterday making a meal list of a ton of freezer meals and I plan on spending the next 3 days making and storing food for when baby comes

I’m 31w4d and just finished my last day of work before baby arrives. Nursery is done. Hospital bag packed. I wanna prep some frozen meals for postpartum. But otherwise I feel the exact same lol. What to do to pass time?
