Not announcing

it’s so hard to keep a secret! i announced at 6 weeks🫣🫣x

I announced a couple daysago so around 9.5 weeks! I always feel like if you’re excited share it!! Anything can happen at anytime during pregnancy, however I’ve seen baby twice already so I know they are growing well 🤍

I announced at 6 weeks too! I wanted everyone to celebrate our joy with us (even if it ended up being short lived for whatever reason)

We told a few people at 7 weeks (my boss, my mum) but then didn't tell the rest of the family or my friends until I was 12 weeks. Just announced it to my work colleagues at almost 13 weeks. I wanted to wait a little longer but there were reasons that it made sense. Not putting anything on Facebook though.

We've announced it throughout based on who we wanted/needed to tell and when. So best friends at 7weeks, family at 8weeks, other close friends at 9weeks, my parents at 10weeks... And will tell extanded family and other close friends at around 11/12 weeks. 😊

17/18 sounds like a very long time to wait, good luck, it must be so so hard to hide how tired you feel and the bump! And also saying no to alcohol, coffee, xured meat, some cheese, steak nights etc.. 🤣

@Aurélie we’ve told our parents and close close friends so thankfully we don’t have to worry too much! It’s just everyone else and social media we are waiting for!

@Jemma Oooohh I see, oh that's a bit easier then 😊 but yes, someone said to me recently that they were told be happy for your friends as you'll want them to be happy for you when you announce it and I thought that was such a good mindset! How far along are you?

We’ve already told close family and a few very close friends otherwise announcing after 12 week scan. We’ve had an early scan so I felt comfortable sharing. Honestly, I can’t wait to tell everyone as I’m showing so much, I’m tired of trying to disguise the bump! 🤣

We’ve told close friends and family but probably won’t announce until 16-17 weeks when we find out the gender x

We have got our scan on Wednesday and we’ll be 13+4, we’ll be doing an announcement not long after. Me and my husband have an Instagram with quite a few followers and we’ve been a bit quiet lately as it’s a travel account 😂

We just told close friends and parents the week we found out, so pretty much 4 weeks, due to previous MCs we weren't into hiding why I wasn't drinking, was resting, was tired, sick etc. Everyone else I just tell as and when I see, I figure if I see someone often enough then they're a part of my life and my future child's...

in all honesty i dont know when i’ll be announcing, i’ll have 2 under 2 and i know im going to get negative comments from people and i just dont think mentally i could take that rn😂 other than that i would have announced it now as ive had an early scan
