Still Awaiting Baby!

Yup! I have the same due date but have been refusing sweeps & induction starting to think I may have to cave in with the sweep

I was due 24th, had a sweep yesterday and got an induction for Saturday. Feeling very deflated that I’m probably gonna have to go for induction as had no signs 😩

@Ebany Aw it’s the worst isn’t it! Had so many people say how easy the birth of second baby is as well🤦🏼‍♀️😂 not in this case! Were you induced with your first? What was that like for you x

I was due the 24th and had no signs of labour so far. Had a sweep on Tuesday and lost my mucus plug this morning… typically on the day i’m being induced!

@Hannah Ah my goodness! Typical isn’t it, are you still going to go ahead with the induction today? See my sweep and induction are literally a day apart so I need to hope something naturally happens within 24 hours😩🤞🏼 (yeah right 😂!) x

@Danielle I had my second two weeks ago, she was a week late and I had a few days of prodromal labour, but my labour was only 3.5 hours this time and the birth was very easy! Hopefully you’ll have the same experience 🤞

I had my second on the 24th, I was a day over and went for reduced movement, they wanted to do the pessary induction but another midwife asked to check me over first and break my waters if preferred, I was already 3cm so they did my waters and baby was here half an hour later! Just meant the contractions went from 0-100 insanely quick! So may be worth seeing if you’re already dilated!

My due date was the 29th and bubba still isn't here. I'm gonna have a sweep on fri but I'm not having an induction as I'm hoping bubba will come when they're ready lol x

Hi everyone! I was ‘due’ on the 26th - still no baby. Third sweep booked for Friday as trying to avoid induction next week. Fingers crossed for you all x

And this is so nice to know I’m not the only one still pregnant!!

Due 28th as well and accepted my first sweep later today, declined one last week but now getting impatient! I’ve had lots of period cramps, nausea etc so hoping I’m at least 1-2cm dilated, induction booked for next week but I don’t want that! Have you had any early Labour signs? X

@Liv I’ve just had my sweep! Wasnt “painful” but it was u comfortable for sure. Said she could feel baby’s hear and I was 2cm dilated😩😂 Since coming home as well I have also lost a chunk of plug. So it’s a waiting game now until induction tomorrow🤦🏼‍♀️. The only signs of labour I have had is mucus plug and last night I had a lot of pains down below and back ache. Thats all! X

Due 29th and still waiting! Had two sweep, booked the 3rd next week and induction next day…not what I was expecting and hoping baby decides to arrive soon 🤞🏻😅

Yep. 24th June, just on a waiting list to have my waters broken now. So fingers crossed not long now!

@Danielle ooo you might go into labour before your induction, I just had my sweep to but she could only get tip of her finger in, was hoping I’d be 1-2cm dilated but still quite closed so feeling disheartened, she said she wiggled about and did what she could 😂 felt a bit crampy since so hopefully it gets something moving, good luck! 🩷

@Liv I hope I do! I haven’t been called in yet as they’re still waiting for a bed to become available😩🤞🏼 since my sweep I have been having lots of regular belly tightenings and lost lots of plug/bloody show so who knows! I don’t feel very confident that she’ll make a natural appearance tho😂🙄 Aw I hope things start to speed up for you!! Come on babiesss x
