Weird comments

What’s the weirdest comments you’ve had so far? Mine was when I told a few people I’m pregnant they would say “congratulations…wait did you want to be pregnant?! 🫤” like I’m 37 and married it’s not exactly out of the realm of possibilities lol and I think it’s because it’s people I don’t really know, so a bit intrusive lol! Also someone said “oh you don’t look well… oh thanks lol” Anyway what’s your weirdest so far.

I keep asking if the pregnancy was planned 😐 I'm 35 and with my partner for over 8 years lol! Tho my strangest one was my neighbour, I told her our news and when I was due and a few days later when I seen her she went I was just thinking the other night you must of conceived around my birthday 😲 like sorry what why you thinking of your neighbours like that 😂😂😂

Haha I get this too! From people I’ve never met! ‘Ah congratulations, was it planned?’ Erm yeah… I’m 32 in a long term stable relationship 😂😂

Im 21 which I get is young but i told a friend the other day and they straight away asked „shit what are you gonna do?” Same when I told my manager he was like „ you’re keeping it?!” I know it’s a shock because I don’t really seem like the baby type but I wish people could gather that if I’m telling them and I’m smiling I’m probably happy and excited for it 😅

Oh crikey I had so many weird comments. Our older two are 10 and 12 and so it seemed normal that people would ask “oh wow- did you plan it?” in disbelief! No we didn’t but hey…. 🤣 Also I have had 2 people ask me if I’m sure it’s one baby! 🙄🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve had someone tell me that I ‘didn’t seem excited enough’ 🤷🏼‍♀️ Didn’t really know how to react! This was at work where I haven’t told many people yet, so wouldn’t exactly be jumping up and down about it

Yes I had the question of was this pregnancy wanted! Also I’m due on 23rd December and had lots of comments about “poor planning” because it’s near Christmas.

@Anna G I know! It’s taken quite a long time to get to this point so honestly I couldn’t care less about the time of year 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ people don’t think before they react…

@Madeleine and that’s what’s so insensitive about it! No one knows the history!!! Like when people said to me… “oh my god I bet that wasn’t planned!” Well…. No not wasn’t! We have 2 older kids and little did they know I spent the first 2 weeks crying and worrying about it! So obviously I needed reminding! 😡

‘Was it planned?’ Is such a bizarre thing to say, I’ve had a few people ask me that and I’m like 🤨 regardless, does it matter to you? I think they assume because our daughter is 18 months old that it can’t have been because who would be so stupid 😂 Also, had the ‘bad planning’ comment re Xmas, as our 1st is a January baby so people always have something to say about it being an expensive time of year 🙄 Actually folks, it was perfect planning, we aimed for December, get over it 😂
