Pregnancy pillow recommendations

Hey! I’m currently 8wks4days and already finding it uncomfortable to sleep, getting hip pain in particular when I sleep on my side, so starting to think of getting a pregnancy pillow already. I’ve had a look online and don’t even know where to start! lol Anyone have any recommendations?

I’m a stomach sleeper, so sleep during pregnancy has been an issue from the start. I was debating between butterfly pillow and J shaped pillow. I was leading a bit more towards the butterfly style one. But a lot of ppl recommended the J shaped. I tried a J shaped firm pilllow at a baby product convention but it was over $200, and at that time I didn’t think it was worth spending 200+ on a pillow. So I bought one from Amazon (~60$). It was good during 1st and 2nd trimester. However towards the end of 2nd/beginning of 2rd trimester, when my bump was getting BIG, the J shaped pillow was not able to provide enough support. I always found it to be too soft. The stuffing also started moving around Then I bought a memory foam butterfly style pillow and I’m loving it. I can sleep again! Back pain to a minimum. Highly recommend this one. I guess bottom line: get something firm or memory foam. The pillows I got: https://a.co/d/02YVOapJ https://a.co/d/00uqS7pG

I have the bbhugme which is expensive but good but different style as doesn’t have a back. At this stage of pregnancy you can sleep on tummy and back with no problem. Though good to start trying to change sleeping habit. Totally get the pain from on the side and I did start using my pillow early for that reason. I didn’t have a bump for ages but still find it more comfy. You could try with an ordinary pillow between legs to help.

I have a 12ft one it wraps round me so I can swap sides in the night Love it. Got it from ‘for you little one’
