Newborn with a cold!
Hi all. I have a really bad cold which has now been passed onto my 4 week old baby girl. I am beyond worried for her. Do I need to take her to the GP? Or is there anything I can do to help her get over this ASAP? I am so anxious.
Hi. How are you and your baby doing? My little newborn girl also has a cold. I asked the midwife and she said it's not dangerous just not very pleasant. To keep an eye on her and call the GP or AE if she develops a fever / gets lethargic/ reduces the amount she eats. I am using the Frida nose sucker to clear her nose. For us it's mostly bad at night
