@Jessica My daughters name is Cora and I’m having another girl.
I was pretty firmly against matchy names, but my hubs family names the boys after their dad and they go by their middle name, so he and my son have the same first. And now we're having a daughter, and my name is Kendra and we're naming her Kenzie🤣 so we did matching names with parents/ kids. For siblings, I could see myself doing it if I loved the names themselves enough, but I prefer not to.
Here's some matchy names to go with Cora! Nova Claire Cleo Vera Flora Cara Norah
My daughter's nursery has twins Sara and Sienna
I dont do the whole matchy thing.. however I've unintentionally given my children names ending with N.. Steven, Lillian and Duncan 🤣
Cora & Calla Cora & Aurora Cora & Chloe Cora & Camille Cora & Cove Cora & Kira Cora & Kiki Cora & Orla Cora & Carla Cora & Moira
I like matching sibling names to a certain extent. Especially similar lengths and styles/vibes. I’m even here for matching first initials or themes but it can definitely go too far. I used to work with a guy who joked he’d name his kids Don and Dawn. Or something like Antonio and Antonia would definitely be too much. What’s your firsts name?
