Just thought I'd introduce myself, I was in the September 2024 group due to my due date being September 11th. I have GD and will be induced in 5/6 weeks...is anyone else in the same boat? That you were meant to be having a September baby but now it's turned into an August baby? Xo

@Kirsty so we find out on 29th July what are options and dates are and then I have an appointment with the consultant midwife a week later to create a birth plan outside of the policy guidelines as I really want a water birth still. My husband is more upset about the school year difference as he is an August baby, but we are debating a move to Australia and there the school year is different so not overly concerned x
@Manon do you know if we have to be induced? Can’t we just wait?
I'd like to be induced, for safety really but I'd like to choose my birth plan for it x
I don't want to have a sweep if I can help it and I'd really still like to have a water birth x I'm leaning towards more 37 weeks than 38

Ahh how early are they inducing you? I’ve got to have my appointment tomorrow for GD was diagnosed last week. I’m 1st September, well at least I thought that was remaining! How do you feel about the school year difference as they’re making you get induced?
