Second child/pregnany

Hey everyone! I am 6+4 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I had my son last year in June so there wont be to big of an age gap! How is everyone finding being pregnant for the second time, do you feel more relaxed in terms of the recommended guideline,like for my first i wouldnt have more than one can of coke a day because of caffine 🤣 or are you equally as strict. Feel really excited ans impatient because i just want these first 12 weeks to speed on by so i can see them as a baby, its hard when they are just a seed still! Currently feeling super tired and hungry 🤣

2nd pregnancy mum here too and I had my first may last year. Im just dying tbh 1st trimesters just horrible isnt it 😂 and me too counting down the weeks till 12th week scan x

I wasn't really strict the first time other than with food based things like rare steak, sushi etc but I did go off tea for ages so caffeine wasn't really an issue 😅 I dont really have any symptoms yet so it all feels a bit weird. The next 7 weeks will be looong waiting for the first scan x

I am having 2 hot caffeinated drinks per day because quite frankly, I need it 😂 I will also be eating all the foods I want because I have done the research and the risk is so small. Waiting for the sickness to kick in and then I will probs live off mashed potato and toast 😂😂 xx

I had no symptoms worh my first so Im desperatly hoping being tired is as bad as it gets 🤣

2nd pregnancy too, had first on Christmas day 2023, I'm just as anxious but remember most the "rules" so think I'm doing okay but I am a little more relaxed. I was being sick this time with my little girl, the sickness is there when cooking chicken though... hoping it's a sign it's a boy xx

@Saff the mashed potato and toast 😂👌 the accuracy

@Zhyp 😂😂

2nd pregnancy about 5 weeks along and my first child is 8 months old. I’m really nervous about the c section complications, my scar hurts so I’m worried. Stressed because I’m self employed and working my arse off owning a salon. I think STRESSED is the word lol

2nd pregnancy here for me too. I develop severe pre eclampsia last time with multiple organ failure and ended up having an emergency c section at 26 weeks as a result I’m quite anxious for the pregnancy to progress. Also not much of a gap as first was born in August

@Megan same Megan had my LO last July via c-section and I think they recommended 18 months before falling pregnant again and now I’m worried like can my scar handle all that pressure that’s going to be on it 😭

But generally I’m less concerned with this pregnancy less itchy to have scans and check things are okay and less nervous about the whole thing. As long as I’m still feeling symptoms I’m good as awful as those symptoms are like nausea and exhaustion 😂

I had a c section 6 months ago, I'm worried about them pressing on it to do the first scan. X

@Deb omg same!!

@Megan my OH said ill be fine but I had a dream about it and can't get it out of my head now xx

@Deb oh god the dreams are the worst! Another lovely bonus of pregnancy 😮‍💨
