Giada de Laurentiis is a chef, her first name is pronounced very similarly to what you mentioned : gjee ah duh
If you're okay with an Italian name
@Elizabeth hmm you’re right! Would’ve never thought about that spelling - thank you!
i would pronounce Jada as Jah-duh - and it's a legit variant of the name Jade, so it's a "real" name and not a made-up spelling. i would avoid Jayda/Jaeda, as i would pronounce those as "JAY-duh". 💕
Yaada
I've got no suggestions other than what other people have said, but just wanted to say I feel your pain 😅 im Dutch in the UK and my name never gets said "right". Wanted a Dutch name for my son but couldn't figure out a name that would work in the UK too, so gave up in the end
@Suzanne ah so you know how I meant the pronunciation of Jade haha! I think it’s just not going to work but was worth a try!
I think Jada and Jayda would both be 'jay-duh' which I'm not sure is what you're looking for. But you're right in England if you have the name Jade it will be pronounced 'Jayd'. For 'Jah-duh' I think the best options are: Jaada Jarda
