Has anyone done the baby beginnings class at Berechurch Family Hub?

Is it good? What do you do exactly? Thanks

I've done it at little hands, in stanway! I really enjoyed it. You do 6 weeks off different topics to do with baby! I was stressing and anxious about it but I enjoyed the subjects and learning new bits. I finished back in May x

@Louisa Thank you :) is there activities that baby can take part in? x

They leave out toys but it's mostly for the mums and dads. Yes dad's welcome. I went on my own as partner was working but there was a few times dads came. Xx

@Louisa ah lovely :) thanks that’s good to know x

I have been going regularly since my little girl was 4 months old x lots of toys and interactive then sing nursery rhymes at end. They often do cards at special times Mother’s Day etc: and paint feet / hands of child (all free of charge). I met some other mums and we have remained friends outside of class, the volunteers that run class are friendly and very helpful, children can go until about 1 or if crawling moving they have class on a Tuesday x I like it very relaxed atmosphere xx

@Andrea Sounds really good :) thank you for sharing your experience xx

Wait, is this the one you got invited to or you just turn up? 🤣🤣 As the invited one is a 6 week course, the other one is games & toys haha

You can just turn up to Wednesday one x

@Andrea there is two but can't think of what it is as I've done both. But at little hands. One is what you are invited to which is newborn to 6 months & then the other one is up to one where you sit, play and sing but I think that one's baby beginnings!

Sorry! I was thinking of first time parents! That's the one you are invited too. I've been to both. Just depends on atmosphere. Been there twice. First time was good, second time not so good! X

Never been to little hands does this one charge for session? Where is little hands ?

There’s one at the Greenstead family hub which is on a Monday too, which is really good x

@Andrea no, it's in stanway! It's basically the same as the other ones. It's just my local one.
