Sleeping bag whilst camping

Hello all, I’m sure this has been covered, but I can’t find a recent post about it! We’re going camping in Cornwall next week and Im wondering what to dress my 8 month old in at night. She sleeps in a travel cot, so I won’t be co sleeping. Any advice or tips please? There seems to be so much guidance out there and it’s a bit overwhelming! Thanks ☺️

My friend put her 9 month old in a vest, thick sleepsuit and a 2.5 tog sleeved sleepbag, my lg had vest, pjs and 2.5 tog snuggle suit from jojo and co-slept with me she’s 19 months and we both threw a blanket on if it went cold they were both fine and slept well last week hope that helps

Thank you so much! That’s really helpful ☺️

@Jessica we were in Cornwall camping last week so this is with the recent temperatures to 😊

@Josie if you have any other camping tips I’d really appreciate them!! We’re due to go to Cornwall this weekend !

@Hannah I’ll try and think back I’ll base it on my friends routine since their closer in age than yours and mine. Depending on who your going with my friend had a seat so she could take her in the shower with her, (I had my mamas and papas seat) other thing I found useful for me is having my iPad downloaded with LOs favourite shows which on the last day I managed to shower without tears from her 😂 I showered the night before to avoid the morning rush and to avoid the screaming baby during shower time If lo is an eater have lots of snacks, lots of wipable toys. I’d aim naps to be when your walking so their in the pushchair for their nap if possible (presuming your on 2/3 naps now) I got myself a side carrier for mine for walking about but using the carrier is useful to

I put my baby in PJ's, 2.5 tog and a blanket. We took their bassinet when they were young and as they got older the travel cot with us as our tent was big so put the crib into a compartment like their bedroom. We are away camping now with junior airbed, 2.5 sleeping bag and normal junior sleeping bag my son is 2.5 years old.
