That’s why the NICU has strict hand hygiene policies. Sometimes staff will still come in to work while sick or don’t use good hand hygiene when eyes aren’t on them. So sorry your little one is sick. I hope the fever subsides quickly.
Anything. Babies that young can develop infections easily. Could be virus, bacteria, being overwhelmed, could be isolated and go away on its own.
