The noise is the worst part. I just don’t want it to get to the point where dentists have to intervene
@Nicole agreed, the noice was very irritating. I was concerned about it becoming an issue as well, I guess whenever she would do it I’d just give her a distraction like a toy, a snack, whatever I could that would make her focus on something besides grinding her teeth. It worked, but she eventually stopped doing it on her own.
My daughter did this too. When I caught her I would just give her something to chew on or go and brush her teeth to give her a different sensation in her mouth. She grew out of it.
They’re getting their two year molars. It’s painful and they want to chew and put pressure: try teathers
Molar muncher on Amazon! (Or wherever) There are amazing for my daughter 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
My son started grinding his as well
my son did this when he was like 8 months till 12 months i didnt know how to stop it! his pediatrician said all you can do is try to stop him every time he does it and wait or give him a drop of lime every time he did it🍋🟩 i did the lime thing and it worked sometimes but i felt bad so i stopped and waited till he stopped 😅
@Jen this is exactly what I did when mine started. Thankfully she got over it in a day maybe 2
Oh my gosh my daughter did this too for quite a while and I had no idea to make her stop lol. She kinda just stopped on her own but it definitely took a while
