My little one hates the smell of eggs 😂😂 so i hide it by making french toast or if i make scrambled eggs i mix it with beans and he doesnt realiseZ In regards to meat my little one is on and off. Have you tried a curry? Or a pasta? I know it can take quite a few tries.

You could try cutting chicken breast into pieces and flour, egg and bread crumb them and the same with fish. I got some haddock and my little one ate it really well.

My daughter wouldn't touch it unless it was seasoned really well x

There are loads of other proteins you could try?

My little one hated any meat too until we tried making it of interest to him. For example using cookie cutters to make them into dinosaurs. Also he likes planes and sticks so we roll up ham and put a cocktail stick in the middle to hold it together. So it literally looks like a plane when he is about to eat it. (He knows to be careful with the stick and we still keep an eye on him the whole time) He calls sticks highya so he calls it ham on a highya which makes him excited to eat it.

There's protein in so many foods other than meat. I'm sure he'll come around but I wouldn't be worried about protein, my daughter is on a vegan diet and she gets all her protein from plants.

I work in a nursery , i looked after a child who didn’t eat meat from a baby and wouldn’t eat meat even when they were 4 , more common then you think , try shredding the food or more finger foods xx

Green peas and cheese are good sources of protein too. And Greek yoghurt too.

My eldest will only eat fish if its got breadcrumbs or batter on it😅 Just keep putting it on your childs plate, if they eat it they eat, if they don't they don't. One day they may surprise you & eat it🤷🏼‍♀️ My eldest changes her likes/dislikes like the wind & she went through a phase of only eating carrots if they were sliced a certain way🙄 Thankfully it was short lived & she's gone back to eating carrots regardless of how they are served to her. Only this time she's fussy over her potatoes. Once again, I still put a couple on her plate with no pressure to eat them.

It might be a texture thing rather than taste

You can try and hide it blended down in a sauce or hide it in croquettes , mini burgers that are mostly potato or bean. Get cheese and full fat Greek yoghurt to supplement. Faye is amazing and really helps up protein intake 🩷also peas are very in protein for a veggie and most babies like them 🩷 you can also add the yoghurt to a smoothie so it's drinkable 🩷
